Weidmichele, Eichelesäcker und anschließender Talgrund

Weidmichele, Eichelesäcker und anschließender Talgrund is a small landscape protection area (Landschaftsschutzgebiet) in the district of Heidenheim, in the eastern part of Baden-Württemberg, Germany. It lies on the territory of the city of Heidenheim an der Brenz, just west of the Aufhausen district, and forms part of the broader Albuch-Härtsfeld natural region of the Swabian Alb. The protected area follows a narrow dry valley that is used as grassland, expanding briefly in the center before pinching back down to only a few meters in width. To the north, the valley opens onto the Brenz valley, where the protected area adjoins the Brenztalaue beim Brünneleskopf landscape protection area. Although modest in size, the site carries regional conservation significance because it overlaps with parts of the FFH area Heiden und Wälder zwischen Aalen und Heidenheim and the Albuch Bird Protection Area (Vogelschutzgebiet Albuch), tying its small dry valley into the wider network of habitats on the Swabian Alb.
