Bredsgård Sø is a compact but ecologically rich Natura 2000 habitat site in the western part of central Jutland, situated just west of Ravnstrup and north-east of the former Rosborg Sø lake basin. The site is instead shaped by a valley landscape that was profoundly altered during the twentieth century when the lake was drained to create farmland, an attempt that was only partly successful and left behind a network of ponds, channels, wet meadows, and relict mire vegetation.
