Landscape Protection Area Owen is a protected countryside reserve in the district of Esslingen in Baden-Württemberg, Germany, set on the western flank of the Swabian Alb. Covering roughly 567 hectares across two separate parcels, it stretches across the western municipal lands of the town of Owen and includes the Owen portion of the Teckberg slope. The area belongs to the Mittleres Albvorland natural region within the larger Schwäbisches Keuper-Lias-Land unit, a transitional landscape between the fertile lowlands and the rising Swabian Alb. Earthy valley floors, gentle slopes, and the wooded flanks of the Teckberg give the reserve a varied, richly structured appearance typical of the Alb foreland.
