Přírodní park Škvorecká obora, Králičina

Přírodní park Škvorecká obora – Králičina is a protected nature park located near the town of Úvaly in the central part of the Praha-východ district, in the Central Bohemian Region (Středočeský kraj) of the Czech Republic. It lies along the eastern administrative border of the capital, Prague, occupying the northeastern edge of the gently undulating Pražská plošina (Prague Plateau). The park centers on a preserved floodplain valley of the Výmola stream, together with the surrounding wooded complex of the historic Škvorecká obora game enclosure. Its character is strongly defined by dense vegetation, including sites for rare plant species, and by its close ecological relationship with the much larger Klánovický forest to the southeast. Beyond its natural value, the park preserves a layered cultural landscape that includes a historical wall-enclosed deer park established by the Liechtenstein family at the turn of the 17th and 18th centuries, the remains of the medieval hillfort of Skara, a notable 19th-century stone bridge, and small pilgrimage and folk-memory sites scattered through the woods.

Distance methodology

Geographic measurements, not driving distances

How nearby park distances are calculated

Distances use park boundaries whenever the available geometry allows it. When one or both boundaries are missing, the mapped park locations provide a clearly labelled estimate. Every value represents straight-line geographic separation and does not use roads or routing.

Boundary distance

Calculated between the nearest points of both park boundaries.

Location-to-boundary estimate

Estimated from one mapped park location to the nearest boundary of the other park.

Mapped-location estimate

Estimated between the mapped locations of both parks.
