Lewertbach mit Nebenbächen Nature Reserve

Lewertbach mit Nebenbächen is a small nature reserve in the western part of the Dahlem municipality in the Euskirchen district of North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany. It lies close to the border with Rhineland-Palatinate and protects a system of small lowland brooks and their adjoining pastures, hedgerows and small woodland patches near the villages of Udenbreth, Berk and Frauenkron. The protected area was designated in 2001 and covers roughly 71 hectares divided into three separate parcels along the Lewertbach stream and its tributaries. The reserve is managed for the conservation of several plant and animal species that are listed on the North Rhine-Westphalian Red List, and it forms part of the regional network of FFH habitat sites in the Nordeifel landscape.
