Eyach oberhalb Neuenbürg is a protected habitat site in the northern Black Forest of Baden-Württemberg, Germany. It covers a near-natural valley landscape that cuts through the Enzhöhen highlands, together with adjacent plateau areas of the Schwarzwald-Randplatten, and stands out for its unusually rich variety of habitats within a relatively compact area. The site is formally designated as a Fauna-Flora-Habitat area, known in German as an FFH-Gebiet, under the European Union Habitats Directive. It was proposed in 2005 by the Regierungspräsidium Karlsruhe and officially designated in 2019 through a regulation identifying sites of Community importance in the federal state. Its conservation value lies in the combination of mixed forests, moist and mesophilic grasslands, traditionally managed meadows, small flowing streams, and steep rocky outcrops. These habitats support a wide range of plant communities and animal species typical of the montane and submontane zones of the central Black Forest.
