Fairview Conservation Park

Fairview Conservation Park is a small protected area in the Australian state of South Australia, situated in the gazetted locality of Woolumbool roughly 17 kilometres north of Lucindale. It lies within the Limestone Coast region, an area defined by its underlying geology and distinctive combinations of dune ridges, flats, and seasonal wetlands. The reserve protects a mosaic of seasonal lagoons, periodically inundated flats, sandy flats and ridges, and limestone ridges. Its vegetation ranges from tea-tree dominated lagoon margins to open heath, tussock grasslands, and small woodlands of South Australian blue gum and rough-barked manna gum. Classified as an IUCN Category Ia strict nature reserve, it is managed primarily for ecological preservation rather than high-intensity visitor use.
