Na želechovických pasekách

Na želechovických pasekách is a small protected natural monument (přírodní památka) in the Zlín District of the Zlín Region in eastern Moravia, Czech Republic. The site covers a stony, shrubby, and partly wooded slope on the right-hand valley side of the Vidovka stream, about 250 meters east of the road between Želechovice-Obůrky and Provodov. The protected area is valued primarily for botanical reasons. It safeguards the only known locality of Hepatica nobilis (jaterník podléškou) in the Zlín District, alongside several other characteristic species of light deciduous woodland, including cowslip, oxlip, and the striking martagon lily. Despite its name, the monument does not lie within the neighboring Želechovické paseky natural park; it is instead part of the adjacent Vizovické vrchy natural park, in the upland landscape east of Zlín.
