Little Beskids Landscape Park

Little Beskids Landscape Park is a protected landscape area in southern Poland, set across the borderlands of the Silesian and Lesser Poland voivodeships. It covers roughly 257 square kilometers of the Little Beskids, a small but scenically rich section of the Western Carpathians that sits between the larger Beskid Śląski to the west and the Beskid Makowski to the east. The park protects two parallel mountain massifs separated by the valley of the Soła river. To the west rises the ridge of Magurka Wilkowicka, crowned by the summit of Czupel at 933 meters, while to the east lies the Andrychów Beskids, whose highest point is Łamana Skała at 929 meters. Together these forested ridges give the park its distinctive double-ridged silhouette above the surrounding lowlands. Beyond its mountain scenery, the park is valued for its sandstone bedrocks, frequent caves, mixed Carpathian forests, and a network of three nature reserves within its boundaries. It is one of the more accessible landscape parks of southern Poland, with the city of Bielsko-Biała and the Żywiec region close at hand, giving it both ecological importance and strong recreational relevance.
