Mowbray National Park is a small protected area in far north Queensland, Australia, situated approximately 1,441 kilometers northwest of Brisbane. The park occupies a modest area of 1.47 square kilometers within the globally significant Wet Tropics region, one of Earth's most biodiverse tropical forest ecosystems. Established in 1989 and managed by the Queensland Parks and Wildlife Service, Mowbray protects a portion of the Wooroonooran landscape, an area recognized internationally for its extraordinary concentration of endemic species.
