About Kanjli Wetland

Kanjli Wetland is a Ramsar-listed freshwater wetland complex in the Kapurthala district of Punjab, northern India. It is built around the Kanjli Lake, a 184-hectare impoundment created in 1870 when Maharaja Randhir Singh of Kapurthala constructed headworks across the Kali Bein River.
