Łąki nad Wojkówką

Łąki nad Wojkówką is a small designated habitat protection area in southeastern Poland, identified under the Natura 2000 network as site PLH180051. It is located in the Subcarpathian Voivodeship (województwo podkarpackie), within the gmina of Wojaszówka, and lies across the foothills of the Pogórze Dynowskie mesoregion above the valley of the Wisłok River. The site takes the form of three small enclaves near the villages of Wojkówka, Rzepnik, and Odrzykoń, and covers a compact 9.62 hectares overall. The site is valued primarily for two grassland habitat types listed under Annex I of the European Union Habitats Directive. These are xerothermic (dry, sun-loving) grasslands belonging to the Festuco-Brometea class, and fresh mesic meadows of the Arrhenatheretum elatioris type. The overwhelming majority of the site, around 97 percent, falls within the boundaries of the Czarnorzecko-Strzyżowski Landscape Park (Czarnorzecko-Strzyżowski Park Krajobrazowy), with the remainder lying within the Czarnorzecki Protected Landscape Area (Czarnorzecki Obszar Chronionego Krajobrazu). As a Site of Community Importance under the EU Habitats Directive, Łąki nad Wojkówką contributes to a transnational effort to maintain rare and characteristic European habitat types. Its small size gives it a focused conservation role rather than a broad landscape-scale one, and its main significance lies in safeguarding semi-natural grassland communities that are otherwise diminishing in the Carpathian foothills.

Distance methodology

Geographic measurements, not driving distances

How nearby park distances are calculated

Distances use park boundaries whenever the available geometry allows it. When one or both boundaries are missing, the mapped park locations provide a clearly labelled estimate. Every value represents straight-line geographic separation and does not use roads or routing.

Boundary distance

Calculated between the nearest points of both park boundaries.

Location-to-boundary estimate

Estimated from one mapped park location to the nearest boundary of the other park.

Mapped-location estimate

Estimated between the mapped locations of both parks.
