Hintere Harrasbachtalwiesen

Hintere Harrasbachtalwiesen is a small landscape protection area in the district of Tuttlingen in Baden-Württemberg, Germany, set within the natural region of the Hohe Schwabenalb. The protected site covers roughly eight hectares of valley landscape roughly halfway between the villages of Obernheim and Deilingen, a short distance north of the Wehingen hamlet of Harras. The area is defined by a stretch of the Harrasbach stream, which flows through a closed forest stand and receives additional water from the Kesselgraben coming in from the west and the Wackerstälebach from the east. Within this wooded setting, two forest clearings hold wet meadows, giving the protected area its name and its principal conservation value. The site lies within the Natura 2000 area Großer Heuberg und Donautal, the bird protection area Südwestalb und Oberes Donautal, and the Naturpark Obere Donau, linking it into a much larger regional conservation framework.

Distance methodology

Geographic measurements, not driving distances

How nearby park distances are calculated

Distances use park boundaries whenever the available geometry allows it. When one or both boundaries are missing, the mapped park locations provide a clearly labelled estimate. Every value represents straight-line geographic separation and does not use roads or routing.

Boundary distance

Calculated between the nearest points of both park boundaries.

Location-to-boundary estimate

Estimated from one mapped park location to the nearest boundary of the other park.

Mapped-location estimate

Estimated between the mapped locations of both parks.
