Hřebeny Nature Park

Hřebeny Nature Park (Přírodní park Hřebeny) is a large protected landscape area in the Central Bohemian Region of the Czech Republic, covering approximately 184 square kilometers of the forested ridge country known as the Hřebeny. The park spans portions of the Prague-West, Beroun, and Příbram districts and is the largest nature park within the Central Bohemian Region. The territory protects a wooded upland where natural beech and mixed forest stands, including scattered old-growth trees, dominate the landscape. Beyond its ecological value, the park is recognized for its scenic character and for the cultural and historical landmarks scattered across its terrain, which reflect centuries of interaction between local communities and the surrounding forest.
