Údolí Bílého potoka Nature Park

Údolí Bílého potoka Nature Park is a protected landscape area in the Brno-venkov district of the South Moravian Region in the Czech Republic, roughly 17 kilometers northwest of Brno. It protects an approximately 15 kilometer long stretch of the lower Bílý potok valley where the stream flows into the Svratka river at the town of Veverská Bítýška. The landscape is shaped by a narrow, forested valley cut into a gently undulating upland plateau, with locally rocky slopes and a stream corridor that varies in elevation from around 430 meters on the upper course to the alluvial floor near Veverská Bítýška at the lowest point. Heights along the valley rim reach close to 500 meters, giving the protected area a compact but vertically expressive character. The park's natural value lies in its mixed forest cover, including remnants of natural beech-fir stands on the less accessible slopes, and its role as a quiet wooded corridor in an otherwise agricultural region of central Moravia.

Distance methodology

Geographic measurements, not driving distances

How nearby park distances are calculated

Distances use park boundaries whenever the available geometry allows it. When one or both boundaries are missing, the mapped park locations provide a clearly labelled estimate. Every value represents straight-line geographic separation and does not use roads or routing.

Boundary distance

Calculated between the nearest points of both park boundaries.

Location-to-boundary estimate

Estimated from one mapped park location to the nearest boundary of the other park.

Mapped-location estimate

Estimated between the mapped locations of both parks.
