Park Krajobrazowy Ujście Warty

Park Krajobrazowy Ujście Warty is a protected landscape area in western Poland, situated along the lower Warta river valley near the border with Germany. It lies primarily in the Lubuskie voivodeship, with a smaller portion extending into the Zachodniopomorskie voivodeship in the lower Oder valley. The park was established on 18 December 1996 by a regulation of the Gorzów voivode, and after the 1999 administrative reform it came to span two provinces. The defining landscape of the park is a wide, lowland river valley. Vast seasonally flooded meadows, pastures, and wetlands dominate the scenery, interspersed with small fragments of riparian oak forest and other floodplain habitats. Because the area is a major node in the Warta river system, it also became the foundation for a separate, more strictly protected national park carved out from its territory in 2001.

Distance methodology

Geographic measurements, not driving distances

How nearby park distances are calculated

Distances use park boundaries whenever the available geometry allows it. When one or both boundaries are missing, the mapped park locations provide a clearly labelled estimate. Every value represents straight-line geographic separation and does not use roads or routing.

Boundary distance

Calculated between the nearest points of both park boundaries.

Location-to-boundary estimate

Estimated from one mapped park location to the nearest boundary of the other park.

Mapped-location estimate

Estimated between the mapped locations of both parks.
