Přírodní park Čeřínek

Přírodní park Čeřínek is a protected nature park in the Czech Republic, located in the Jihlava District of the Vysočina Region, east of the village of Nový Rychnov. Established on 21 December 1985, the park covers roughly 23 square kilometers of forest and upland landscape in the Křemešnická vrchovina highlands. The park takes its name from its dominant peak, Čeřínek, which rises to 762 meters above sea level and sits among a series of forested ridges and rocky outcrops. The protected area is framed by a ring of small villages, including Nový Rychnov, Milíčov, Hojkov, Mirošov, Dvorce, Kostelec, Dolní Cerekev, and Rohozná, giving the park a distinctly rural Czech setting. Beyond its continuous tracts of mostly coniferous woodland, the park contains several smaller protected sites, including natural monuments such as Čertův hrádek, Přední skála, Na Skalce, Pod Mešnicí, and the nationally protected peatland known as Hojkovské rašeliniště. A nature trail, marked hiking routes, a cycling route, and a small ski area all make the park accessible for outdoor recreation throughout the year.

Distance methodology

Geographic measurements, not driving distances

How nearby park distances are calculated

Distances use park boundaries whenever the available geometry allows it. When one or both boundaries are missing, the mapped park locations provide a clearly labelled estimate. Every value represents straight-line geographic separation and does not use roads or routing.

Boundary distance

Calculated between the nearest points of both park boundaries.

Location-to-boundary estimate

Estimated from one mapped park location to the nearest boundary of the other park.

Mapped-location estimate

Estimated between the mapped locations of both parks.
