Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

Bwindi Impenetrable National Park is a UNESCO World Heritage Site located in southwestern Uganda along the border with the Democratic Republic of the Congo. Established as a national park in 1991, Bwindi is renowned globally as a critical refuge for the mountain gorilla, hosting roughly half of the world's remaining population of this endangered great ape.
