Duszniczki Nature Reserve

Duszniczki Nature Reserve is a small forest reserve in west-central Poland, in the Wielkopolska region. It lies within the Gmina Duszniki of Szamotuły County, about three kilometers east of the village of Duszniki, and forms part of a much larger continuous forest complex that stretches across this part of the lowland landscape. The reserve protects a compact stand of oak–hornbeam forest with a notable occurrence of Polish larch (Larix polonica), a tree considered endemic to Poland and one of the key reasons the site was given formal protection. Established in 1958, the reserve covers just 0.77 hectares, making it one of the more diminutive protected sites in the region, yet it holds real ecological significance because of the larch population it shelters. Duszniczki is best understood not as a destination-scale park but as a focused conservation site, visited mainly as part of ecological walks and educational trails through the surrounding Wielkopolska woodlands.

Geographic measurements, not driving distances

How nearby park distances are calculated

Distances use park boundaries whenever the available geometry allows it. When one or both boundaries are missing, the mapped park locations provide a clearly labelled estimate. Every value represents straight-line geographic separation and does not use roads or routing.

Boundary distance

Calculated between the nearest points of both park boundaries.

Location-to-boundary estimate

Estimated from one mapped park location to the nearest boundary of the other park.

Mapped-location estimate

Estimated between the mapped locations of both parks.
