This nature reserve preserves the natural maple-lime and oak-hornbeam forest communities found on the slopes of the Mszana and Obłoga hills. The area is defined by its striking basalt outcrops and volcanic rubble fields, providing a unique ecological character within the broader Kaczawskie foothills of southwestern Poland.
