Réserve naturelle régionale du marais de Reuves

The Réserve naturelle régionale du marais de Reuves is a small French regional nature reserve located in the Marne department of the Grand Est region, in the historic Champagne-Ardenne area. It protects around 64 hectares of the larger Marais de Saint-Gond, a traditional wetland landscape that was extensively drained in the mid twentieth century. The reserve focuses on conserving a mosaic of wetland, woodland, and grassland habitats that have become rare in the broader agricultural region. It functions as a refuge for wetland flora and fauna, including several rare or declining species. Managed by the Conservatoire d'espaces naturels de Champagne-Ardenne, the reserve plays an important local role in preserving the ecological character of the Saint-Gond marshes within an intensively farmed landscape.

Distance methodology

Geographic measurements, not driving distances

How nearby park distances are calculated

Distances use park boundaries whenever the available geometry allows it. When one or both boundaries are missing, the mapped park locations provide a clearly labelled estimate. Every value represents straight-line geographic separation and does not use roads or routing.

Boundary distance

Calculated between the nearest points of both park boundaries.

Location-to-boundary estimate

Estimated from one mapped park location to the nearest boundary of the other park.

Mapped-location estimate

Estimated between the mapped locations of both parks.
