Minokąt Nature Reserve

Minokąt Nature Reserve is a small forest reserve located in the village of Kadłubiska, in Narol commune, within Lubaczów County in the Subcarpathian Voivodeship of southeastern Poland. It lies on the Central Roztocze mesoregion, a transitional landscape band between the Polish lowlands and the Carpathian foothills, which gives the reserve much of its ecological character. The reserve was established in 1996 to protect a stand of Carpathian fir and beech forest, together with the characteristic herb layer of the fertile Carpathian beech forest community. Several individual fir trees within the reserve are considered large enough to qualify as natural monuments, reflecting both the maturity of the stand and its conservation value. Minokąt sits within the broader Roztocze Protected Landscape Area and overlaps with two Natura 2000 sites, including the habitat site that carries its own name, underlining its role as a small but well-integrated component of the region's protected area network.

Distance methodology

Geographic measurements, not driving distances

How nearby park distances are calculated

Distances use park boundaries whenever the available geometry allows it. When one or both boundaries are missing, the mapped park locations provide a clearly labelled estimate. Every value represents straight-line geographic separation and does not use roads or routing.

Boundary distance

Calculated between the nearest points of both park boundaries.

Location-to-boundary estimate

Estimated from one mapped park location to the nearest boundary of the other park.

Mapped-location estimate

Estimated between the mapped locations of both parks.
