Sikhna Jwhwlao National Park is a recently notified protected area in the Bodoland Territorial Region of Assam, India, straddling the Chirang and Kokrajhar districts along the international border with Bhutan. The park lies within the broader Manas Biosphere Reserve landscape, where it plays a connective role by linking four neighbouring protected areas and supporting wildlife movement across the Indo-Bhutan frontier. The park protects a wide spectrum of habitats typical of Assam's sub-Himalayan foothills, ranging from moist deciduous forest and grasslands to riverine corridors. It is recognised for an exceptional butterfly diversity and harbours several of northeast India's most emblematic large mammals, including the golden langur, the greater one-horned rhinoceros, the Royal Bengal tiger, and the Asian elephant. Distance methodology

Geographic measurements, not driving distances

How nearby park distances are calculated

Distances use park boundaries whenever the available geometry allows it. When one or both boundaries are missing, the mapped park locations provide a clearly labelled estimate. Every value represents straight-line geographic separation and does not use roads or routing.

Boundary distance

Calculated between the nearest points of both park boundaries.

Location-to-boundary estimate

Estimated from one mapped park location to the nearest boundary of the other park.

Mapped-location estimate

Estimated between the mapped locations of both parks.
