Russky Sever National Park is a protected area in the north of European Russia, established in 1992 in Kirillovsky District of Vologda Oblast. The park spans approximately 1,664 square kilometers of terrain characterized by hilly glacial landscapes, extensive forests, and wetlands. Its distinctive character comes from the integration of natural protection with remarkable cultural heritage, as the park encompasses several important medieval Russian monasteries including Kirillo-Belozersky Monastery, Ferapontov Monastery, and Goritsky Monastery.
