Khaudum National Park

Khaudum National Park is a vast protected area spanning 3,842 square kilometers in the Kalahari Desert of northeastern Namibia, situated west of the Caprivi Strip. This remote and relatively inaccessible park encompasses a unique dry forest ecosystem dominated by acacia species and three major dry river systems known as Omuramba, which carry seasonal floodwaters that sustain the surrounding landscape.
