Teijo National Park

Teijo National Park is a protected wilderness area in Southwest Finland, established in 2015 within the Perniö region of Salo municipality. The park covers approximately 34 square kilometres of forested landscape situated on Finland's southern coast, making it one of the nation's newer national parks. The area features a distinctive mix of young managed pine forests and rare wetland habitats, including a notable eutrophic fen that represents one of the few remaining examples of this habitat type in southern Finland.
