Namtok Chet Sao Noi National Park

Namtok Chet Sao Noi National Park is a protected area in central Thailand established in December 2016 as the 129th national park in the country and the first created during the reign of King Maha Vajiralongkorn (Rama X). The park spans approximately 42 square kilometres across Muak Lek and Wang Muang districts in Saraburi Province and Pak Chong District in Nakhon Ratchasima Province. The park is centered around the namesake Chet Sao Noi waterfall, a seven-tiered cascade known locally as Namtok Chet Sao Noi, which translates to waterfall of seven little girls. The area features tropical rainforest ecosystems and is situated in the Dong Phaya Yen mountain range, part of the broader Phanom Dong Rak mountain system. The park became a notable conservation site not only for its scenic beauty but also for representing Thailand's continued efforts to expand its protected area network in the 21st century.
