Lesueur National Park

Lesueur National Park is a protected area in the Wheatbelt and Mid West regions of Western Australia, situated approximately 211 kilometres north of Perth. The park encompasses 272.35 square kilometres of distinctive landscape dominated by two prominent mesas, Mount Lesueur and Mount Michaud, which rise from the surrounding sandplains. Established in 1992, the park protects an area of exceptional botanical significance within the Geraldton Sandplains bioregion, one of Australia's most species-rich heathland environments. The park supports over 900 indigenous plant species, with a significant proportion being endemic to the region. The vegetation ranges from open Eucalyptus woodland with diverse understorey to extensive scrubby heath communities dominated by plants from the Proteaceae family. Distance methodology

Geographic measurements, not driving distances

How nearby park distances are calculated

Distances use park boundaries whenever the available geometry allows it. When one or both boundaries are missing, the mapped park locations provide a clearly labelled estimate. Every value represents straight-line geographic separation and does not use roads or routing.

Boundary distance

Calculated between the nearest points of both park boundaries.

Location-to-boundary estimate

Estimated from one mapped park location to the nearest boundary of the other park.

Mapped-location estimate

Estimated between the mapped locations of both parks.
