Réserve naturelle régionale du marais de Condette

The Réserve naturelle régionale du marais de Condette is a small regional nature reserve in the Pas-de-Calais department of northern France, set within the Hauts-de-France region and the broader Parc naturel régional des caps et marais d'Opale. It covers roughly 35 hectares centered on the Lac des miroirs, a wetland complex that stretches between the Forêt d'Écault and the Forêt d'Hardelot, just south of Boulogne-sur-Mer and a short distance inland from the Opal Coast. The reserve was created in 2009 to protect a particularly rich mosaic of aquatic, marshy, peat-forming and wooded habitats that remain unusually natural in a region otherwise marked by landscape fragmentation. It functions as a flood expansion zone, supports rare flora and amphibians, and acts as a vital ecological corridor between two forested massifs and the dunes of Écault. Beyond its ecological role, the Marais de Condette is also a public space: pedestrian walkways on oak boardwinds, interpretive panels, and accessible paths make it a year-round destination for walks, environmental education, and quiet nature observation near one of the most visited stretches of the French northern coast.

Distances use park boundaries whenever the available geometry allows it. When one or both boundaries are missing, the mapped park locations provide a clearly labelled estimate. Every value represents straight-line geographic separation and does not use roads or routing.

Boundary distance

Calculated between the nearest points of both park boundaries.

Location-to-boundary estimate

Estimated from one mapped park location to the nearest boundary of the other park.

Mapped-location estimate

Estimated between the mapped locations of both parks.
